Caustic soda [sodium hydroxide NoaH] is very effective inorganic compound product used for unblocking drains, pipes, cleaning paths, driveways, toilets, drains, traps, etc. Not suitable for aluminium based fittings. May also be used as a raw material. Soluble in water, ethanol or methonal.
Using protective wear sprinkle 1kg of caustic soda into 10 litres of cold water. Stir well with a plastic utensil avoiding skin contact. Solution will heat up. Pour carefully down drain or pipe leave for 20-30 minutes, flush with clean water. Repeat if necessary.

Always ensure caustic soda Granules are dissolved prior to use. Never use hot water when mixing. NEVER ADD WATER TO CAUSTIC SODA. ALWAYS WEAR FULL PROTECTIVE WEAR WHEN HANDLING. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediatly with plenty of water. If swallowed rinse out mouth, do not induce vomiting, in case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately.
